So the package that I have coming from Amazon went from Hazelwood MO (about a half hour from me) to Coffeyville KS (I have no idea where in the state of KS that is, but it’s certainly *not* my apartment). It started out in Kansas City, KS. The hell? It’s like they’re *trying* to make it not get to me until their shipping estimate said it will arrive.

Today is a very good day. Pirates 3 comes out on dvd, Jim Butcher’s latest Codex Alera book, Captain’s Fury, comes out today, AND I had a 40% coupon for a dvd box set, so I am up to Season 5 of Buffy. Jen is a happy girl. If only work wasn’t in the way. I’ll still probably finish Captain’s Fury before the day is over, regardless. And maybe Saturday, a Pirates marathon...
